I can't express how much fun we had on our very first Disney World experience.  It's a must for all kids and teens.  As you can see all my kids are big and even they had a great time.

We rented a double room from the Disney Resort and we loved our stay.  It was clean and comfy and enjoyed every bit of it.  The resort has a pool and every night at 9 p.m. there was a Disney movie for the kids by the pool.  There was also buses that transports to every park including the water park.  This made commuting go by so smoothly.  Honestly, we didn't have to drive no where except for some shopping outside the park.

As far as food, I suggest getting one of the dining plans.  Food is very pricey so it can add up when paying cash.  Check out the dining plan according to your budget and when you arrive at Disney you can use it in many restaurants at the Disney Parks and at your Resort.  So how it works is that you get an entrĂ©e and two sides plus desert and a drink.  Also when on the dining plan your resort gives you a refillable mug.  I used my mug to get coffee in the morning and pop when at the pool.  Please note that the resort rooms do not have a coffee maker nor a microwave, only a small fridge.  So expect a walk in the morning to get some coffee at the restaurant of the resort.  Also, when entering the resort the check-in location has a store for souvenirs as well as emergency items such as diapers, milk, etc.  Also this is where the restaurant is at and there are two other exits, one leads to the pool and rooms and the other leads to the bus stops.  It's is very convenient for big families like mine.

I highly recommend staying at their resorts.  It's a definite must for our next stay.  Hope this was helpful and hope to hear some of your experiences.
